Jadi ese gele priya ei avelay is the 1425th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jadi ese gele priya ei aveláy
Tháko kichu kśań mor kśudra ghare (tumi)
Klánta haye gecho patha caláy
Árakta kapola tava ravira kare

Goláper lálimáy metecho áji
Vasanta nandane esecho sáji
Eso áro káche baso manomájhe
Priiti bhare priya priiti bhare

Ei jyotiśka samárohe vishvarájár
Kańiśka dyuti ene dilo je báṋcár
Eso anuráge nava giitira ráge
Chandahárá ei diina kut́iire

As You paid a visit at this late hour,[nb 2]
So stay some moments in my tiny house.
From the travel, weary You've become,
Your cheeks flushed by the sun.

Now, with red hue of the rose, You've been seized;
Embellished, You've arrived in a paradise of spring.
Please come closer still, be seated inside psyche;
Having made it replete, full of love, my Dear.

With the grand stellar assembly over world presiding,
To those alive the age-old King brought lustrous beauty.
Lovingly please do come with fresh lyrical melodies
Into this wretched, rhythm-lacking shanty.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ This suggests an evening or nighttime arrival. But this is also a song of spring, the final season of the year in the Bengali calendar
