O lord,
Should He speak no word, give no response,
no matter whether you speak,
Still calling Him I will go on.
or do not respond,
If feet to hold He permits not,
still, i shall continue calling you.
At foot-dust I will set eyes on.

If you do not allow me to hold your feet,
I shall look to the dust of those feet.

Let numerous days pass by,
So many days proceed, much made to weep;
let there be much crying,
The nights go by, tears made to stream....
let the nights pass by flowing tears,
Yet I am not defeated, never do I cease;
still, i shall not fear,
To His ear I will transmit my innermost feelings.
still, i shall not stop
to whisper into your ears my inner feelings.

Let great obstructions come,
As lofty as may come the obstacle,
and even should difficultly surmountable and high mountains appear,
Even a mountain insurmountable,
by crushing them with a forceful blow of my feet,
On kick of foot with thundering ruin,
I shall be victorious.
Pulverizing it, I will be victorious.

Jadi katha nahi kay sara nahi dey is the 1585th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Jadi) Kathá náhi kay sáŕá náhi dey
Tabu ámi táre d́eke jábo
Carańa dharite náhi jadi dey
Padadhúli páne ceye rabo

Kata din jáy kata ná káṋdáye
Rát baye jáy ashru baháye
Tabu dami niko tabu thámi niko
Marmer kathá káńe dobo[nb 2]

Uttuṋga je bádhái ásuk
Durlauṋghya je giri thákuk
Carańágháte vajranipáte
Cúrńa kariyá jayii habo

Should He speak no word, give no response,
Still calling Him I will go on.
If feet to hold He permits not,
At foot-dust I will set eyes on.

So many days proceed, much made to weep;
The nights go by, tears made to stream....
Yet I am not defeated, never do I cease;
To His ear I will transmit my innermost feelings.

As lofty as may come the obstacle,
Even a mountain insurmountable,
On kick of foot with thundering ruin,
Pulverizing it, I will be victorious.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In the Sargam and other early editions, this word is incorrectly given as tava. Hence the mistake in the audio rendition. However, that error is corrected in the latest Bengali edition,[2] and the corrected version is maintained here.
