জগৎ তোমারে চায়
কাছে এসো প্রভু
থেকো না দূর অলকায় (তুমি)
মনের কথা
প্রাণের ব্যথা
তব শ্রুতি কি শুনিতে নাহি পায়

বৃষ্টি ঝরে তোমার তরে
ফুল ফোটে তোমারে স্মরে’
সরস হৃদয় পরশ যে চায়
শাশ্বত মনমঞ্জুষায়

সূর্য্য ওঠে তোমার তরে
চাঁদের হাসি তোমায় স্মরে
পুষ্পরেণু ইন্দ্রধনু
তোমারে তুষিতে চায়
তুমি নেবে’ এসো ধরায়

O lord, the world wants you,
come close.
you do not stay in the distant heaven.
the agonies of minds, pains of hearts,
cannot all that hear your ears?
the rains fall for you,
the flowers bloom remembering you.
the succulent heart wants the touch
of the eternal casket of mental jewels.
the sun rises for you,
the moon smiles remembering you.
the pollens of flowers and rainbow
want to satisfy you,
you come down to this earth.
