Je agun mane jvele diye gele is the 1851st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Je águn mane jvele diye gele
Se águn neváno halo dáy
Shiitalatá candanero[nb 2] pele
Tár jválá náhi bholá jáy

Kusum konai suśamá áne ná
Mana bhramarer madhute roce ná
Jyotsná nishiithe buniyá cali ná
Svapnera ráuṋá amaráy

Je máyá shaláká áche tava káche
Bhúlok dyulok táháte náciche
Je máyámukura se race diyeche
Trilok táháte jhalakáy

O lord, the fire that you have kindled in my mind,
it is hard to extinguish. even after getting coolness
of sandal, that heat cannot be forgotten. the flower
do not bring any beauty, the mental bee does not
like the honey. during moonlit nights, i cannot continue
weaving colourful heavenly dreams. the illusive lighting
stick that you have, by that the heaven and the earth go
on dancing. the illusive mirror, that you have created,
in that all the three arenas of the world show the glimpses.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Although this word is sung in the audio recording as candaner and not candanero, all of the Bengali publications have it as candanero. Hence the word is retained as such under an assumption that the audio recording is in error.
