O lord, during stormy, cyclonic,
In monsoon, with typhoon and storm,
rainy dark night, you had come.
On new-moon night You'd come.
in the small hut with closed doors,
At meager hut with door bolted,
i was asleep alone.
I had been asleep in seclusion.
by knocking the door with your hand,

You broke my sleep.
By knock on door You shattered slumber;
With gesture you called me outside
Motioning me, out of doors You invited.
and told me to laugh freely with vigor.
You said: "Come and laugh wholeheartedly;
you told me further
Behold the earth in new form."
to look at the earth in a new style.

with this, virtually
A tiny hut went and grew large;
the small hut became big,
The whole world became similar.
whole universe became unified.
A nebula and stars turned intimate;
stars and nebula came close,
The mind got filled with flow of love.
and the mind was satiated
with the flow of love.

Jhar jhainjhay varasay is the 2492nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jhaŕ jhaiṋjháy varaśáy
Tumi esechile amánisháy
Kśudra kut́ire ruddha dváre
Ghumiye chilum niráláy

Dváre karágháte ghum bheuṋge dile
Iuṋgite more báhire d́ákile
Balile eso práń bhare háso
Nava rúpe dekho vasudháy

Kśudra kut́ir baŕa haye gelo
Vishvabhuvan ekákár halo
Niiháriká tárá nikat́e elo
Man bhare gelo priitidháráy

In monsoon, with typhoon and storm,
On new-moon night You'd come.
At meager hut with door bolted,
I had been asleep in seclusion.

By knock on door You shattered slumber;
Motioning me, out of doors You invited.
You said: "Come and laugh wholeheartedly;
Behold the earth in new form."

A tiny hut went and grew large;
The whole world became similar.
A nebula and stars turned intimate;
The mind got filled with flow of love.
