Jiivaner ei khelághare
Ke go tumi ele sahasá
Cini ná tomáre jáni ná tomáre
Tabu dile more bharasá

Tomár sauṋge mor vyavadhán
Paramáńu himádri samán
Tabu tumi káche ele mahápráń
Bháuṋá hrdaye dile áshá

Tomáre dekhechi báre báre
Kakhano káche kakhano dúre
Nijere chaŕáye dile shatadháre
Jyotite saráye tamasá

জীবনের এই খেলাঘরে
কে গো তুমি এলে সহসা
চিনি না তোমারে জানি না তোমারে
তবু দিলে মোরে ভরসা

তোমার সঙ্গে মোর ব্যবধান
পরমাণু-হিমাদ্রি সমান
তবু তুমি কাছে এলে মহাপ্রাণ
ভাঙা হৃদয়ে দিলে আশা

তোমারে দেখেছি বারে বারে
কখনো কাছে কখনো দূরে
নিজেরে ছড়ায়ে দিলে শতধারে
জ্যোতিতে সরায়ে তমসা

In this same earthly life,
Who are You that came asudden?
Yourself I don't know, don't recognize;
Nonetheless You gave me confidence.

In my association with You is a chasm,
Like unto an atom and Himalayan mountain.
Even then You came near, Magnanimous One;
On a broken heart You conferred prospect.

I have noticed You time after time,
Sometimes afar and sometimes nigh.
You've spread Yourself along a hundred lines,
With light having removed the darkness.
