Phuler pápŕi bandhan cháŕi
Dúr gaganete diyechila páŕi

Hrdayer niipe bhesechile
Tumi práńer pradiip jvelechile

জ্যোৎস্না নিশীথে নীরবে নিভৃতে
আমার চিত্তে এসেছিলে
তুমি মধুরিমা-মাখা হেসেছিলে

আকাশের চাঁদ কালো মেঘ সাথে
লুকোচুরিতে উঠেছিল মেতে’
মধুর লাস্যে বিধুর হাস্যে
ত্রিলোকেতে সুধা ঢেলেছিলে (তুমি)

ফুলের পাপড়ি বন্ধন ছাড়ি’
দূর গগনেতে দিয়েছিল পাড়ি
ক্ষমাসুন্দর প্রীতিমনোহর
হৃদয়ের নীপে ভেসেছিলে
তুমি প্রাণের প্রদীপ জ্বেলেছিলে

O lord,
on a moonlit night,
silently and in isolation,
You came into my mind
and smiled with absorbed sweetness.

The moon in the sky was absorbed
in playing hide and seek with the clouds.

You were pouring nectar
on the three worlds
by sweet gestures
and an overwhelming smile.

The petals of flowers,
leaving all bondages,
moved into the distant sky.

The ever pardoning and beautiful lord,
with charming love,
floated in the niipa flower garden of my heart,
kindling the lamp of life.
