Jáni mor mane tamasá apár
Sádhya sádhaná kichu náhi tár
Karuńáy tava bharasá ámár
Dhruvatárá andhakáre

Juktite kichu cáhite pári ná
Karuńá jácite náhi kona máná

কাছে এসো যেও না দূরে
থাকো মোর মনকে ভরে'
সপ্তলোকের মণিদ্যুতি তুমি

জানি মোর মনে তমসা অপার
সাধ্য-সাধনা কিছু নাহি তার
করুণায় তব ভরসা আমার
