Kaj kare jete esechi dharate is the 1307th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Káj kare jete esechi dharáte
Kurukśetra ei dhará
Basá ár shoyá stháńuvat haoyá
E nahe jiivaner dhárá

Krśńa tumi já kare giyechile
Cakre tuńiire jáhá karechile
Se amar kathá se amrta gáthá
Rahiyáche hethá smrti jhará

Thámivár kona upáy je nái
Tava ákarśańe cale sabái
E kurukśetre dvaepáyanete
Se kathá rayeche giitibhará

I have come to this earth to perform actions,
for, this world is a battlefield of action.

Sitting idle and sleeping,
turning stationary,
is not the flow of life.

O lord krs'n'a,
whatever you did,
with the cutting disc
and arrows in hands...
that immortal history and everlasting glory,
remains flowing in memory.

There is no scope to pause,
for, by your attraction. all move.
The stories of the times of kuruks'etra and dvaepa'yan
ever resonnate full of song.
