Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kata d́ekechi kata keṋdechi
Tabu ele ná káche he priya mor
Kathá kayechi vyathá shuniyechi
Kothá diye je haye geche nishi bhor

Ekt́i vyathái shudhu rayeche ámár
Ámár tumi choṋyá pái ná tomár
Tumi ácho kata dúre kon payodhir páre
Kemane tomáy báṋdhi diye phulad́or

Liilár chalaná ár karo ná prabhu
Tava sáthe jujhite pári ki kabhu
Ámi shudhu bhálabási tomá tare káṋdi hási
Tava bhávanáy ámi tháki vibhor

O my dear lord, how much i have called you,
how much i have cried, still You did not come close.
i told about myself, heard agonies,
in this process, night turned into morning.
i am left with only one agony,
you are mine but i am unable to touch you.
How far have you remained, beyond which ocean,
how can i tie you with the thread of love.
Do not make any more delusion, o lord,
can i ever struggle with you?
i just love, laugh and cry for you,
in your ideation i am fully absorbed.
