Katabár ásá kata bhálabásá
Kata káṋdá hásá tomáre ghire
Buddhi jáne ná bodhi bojhe ná
Kena jáoyá ásá báre báre

Anádi theke tomár chanda
Bahe niye jáy amitánanda
Kehai táháre rodhite ná páre
Tomátei ghore cakrákáre

He devádidev tomár váratá
Bharite ná páre kona itikathá
Jukti-tarkashástrer kathá
Kothá bhese jáy karuńániiŕe

কতবার আসা কত ভালবাসা
কত কাঁদা-হাসা তোমারে ঘিরে’
বুদ্ধি জানে না বোধি বোঝে না
কেন যাওয়া-আসা বারে বারে

অনাদি থেকে তোমার ছন্দ
বহে’ নিয়ে যায় অমিতানন্দ
কেহই তাহারে রোধিতে না পারে
তোমাতেই ঘোরে চক্রাকারে

হে দেবাদিদেব তোমার বারতা
ভরিতে না পারে কোন ইতিকথা
যুক্তি-তর্কশাস্ত্রের কথা
কোথা ভেসে’ যায় করুণানীরে

O lord,
I came innumerable times,
I loved much,
I cried and smiled for you.

My intellect does not know of it,
intuition also fails to realise it.
Why this coming and going?
Again and again?

From time immemorial, in your rhythm,
immeasurable bliss floats adrift.
None can stop it,
as all revolve around you in circles.

O lord of all divinities,
Your glory surpasses all history.
All points of logic,
reasoning and scriptures,
fade away in the waters of your mercy.
