E kii tava bhálabásá
Bujhle ná mor maner áshá
Rátri dine sauṋgopane
Geye gechi priitir bháśá

Tomár rauṋei man ráuṋálum
Tomár pathei neve elum
Tomáke sár mene nilum
Tomáy ghirei káṋdá hásá

Tomár tarei sab karibo
Marme tomáy rekhe dobo
Tomár sure bhese jábo
Saphal habe dharáy ásá

কথা দিয়ে নাহি এলে কেন
এ কী তব ভালবাসা
বুঝলে না মোর মনের আশা
রাত্রি দিনে সঙ্গোপনে
গেয়ে গেছি প্রীতির ভাষা

তোমার রঙেই মন রাঙালুম
তোমার পথেই নেবে' এলুম
তোমাকে সার মেনে' নিলুম
তোমায় ঘিরেই কাঁদা-হাসা

তোমার তরেই সব করিব
মর্মে তোমায় রেখে' দোব
তোমার সুরে ভেসে' যাব
সফল হবে ধরায় আসা

Why, after having pledged, You did not appear;
What's the reason, what is this Your love!
You did not fathom my inner aspiration;
Night and day, privately but constantly,
I have kept on singing expressions of affection.

With Your dye exclusively, mind I stained;
Following Your path alone, I came.
Yourself as substance I acclaimed;
Only 'round You are crying and laughter.

Only for Your sake everything will I do;
At the core of heart I will retain You.
I'll continue sailing on Your tune;
Fruitful will it be, coming to the earth.
