Sahakár sudhásár kańt́he niye
Gopikár priitibhár vakśe baye
Tumi bhese cale jáo kon sudúre
Ke se d́áke aviral ke se d́áke aviral

Tomár calár pathe náhi kona sheś
Tumi járe cáo se je amiya asheś
Sab cheŕe tái ki dharecha jogii vesh
Ogo nikaśa vimal tumi bháve avical

কেন আঁখি ছলছল জল ভরে’
নাবল কি রে
আজি অকালে বাদল আজি অকালে বাদল
কেন আলো ঠিকরে পড়ে কপোল ‘পরে
কার প্রীতিতে উজল

সহকার সুধাসার কণ্ঠে নিয়ে
গোপিকার প্রীতিভার বক্ষে বয়ে
তুমি ভেসে’ চলে’ যাও কোন সুদূরে
কে সে ডাকে অবিরল কে সে ডাকে অবিরল

তোমার চলার পথে নাহি কোন শেষ
তুমি যারে চাও সে যে অমিয় অশেষ
তুমি সব ছেড়ে’ তাই কি ধরেছ যোগী বেশ
ওগো নিকষ বিমল তুমি ভাবে অবিচল

Why do your eyes brim with streaming tears?
Oh what has brought you down,
An undue monsoon now?
Upon your cheeks why does the light rebound?
With Whose love are they glistening?

Aided by ambrosia's essence in your neck,
And a milkmaid's[nb 2] load of love borne in your breast,
You float off to some remote sphere.
Who is He that calls you endlessly?

To your path of movement there's no finish;
What you long for, it is nectar limitless.
Is that why, shunning all, ascetic's garb you have worn?
Oh touchstone-streak[nb 3] pristine, you are in fixed ideation.
