Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kena dúre jáo báre bár
Ebár ele theke jeo
Sabái dharáy cáy je tomáy
Táder áshá bhare dio

Jáni tomár ásá jáoyá
Hay ná kono cáoyá páoyá
Tabu eman maner máyá
Dekhi náko kácheo

Ei máyátei jagat áche
Cakrákáre ghure caleche
Jánto jadi ácho káche
Jeto náko dúreo

O lord, why again and again you go away far,
this time having come,
You stay. i know your coming and going never happens.
there is no desire and achievement.
But due to the mental illusion, i do not see you close.
because of this illusion (ma'ya')
this world exists and is revolving in a cyclic order.
if i would have realized you close,
I would not have let you go away.
