Ashani háse matta váyute
Maner májháre iishán końete
Megh náce kár bharasáy

Júthikár reńu jale bhije jáy
Rajaniigandhá káháre je cáy
Vane upavane virale vijane
Ke jena gán shonáy

কেতকী-জাগা বরষায়
পরাগে পরাগে সুরভি ভাসিয়া যায়

দাদুর ডাকিছে পিয়াল বনেতে
অশনি হাসে মত্ত বায়ুতে
মনের মাঝারে ঈশান কোণেতে
মেঘ নাচে কার ভরসায়

যূথিকার রেণু জলে ভিজে' যায়
রজনীগন্ধা কাহারে যে চায়
বনে উপবনে বিরলে বিজনে
কে যেন গান শোনায়

The rain awakens the ketakii flower,
through the pollen of which
fragrance goes on floating.
the frogs croak in the nut grove,
the thunder laughs as wild wind.
within the mind from the northeast corner,
the cloud dances on whose confidence.
The pollen of juhi flower gets wet,
whom the night queen wants,
within the forest and garden
in isolation and silence,
who is that chanting song?
