Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Ket́e geche megh geche udveg
Álor játrá pathe
Dúr niilimáy kárá d́eke jáy
Sońálii saora rathe

Eso bhái sabe e mahotsave
Ájikár e úśáy
Dharańir dhvańi alakár váńii
Ek haye mishe jáy

The clouds have dissolved,
And all anxieties have disappeared.
On the journey along the path of light,
From the distant blue void,
Whose call resounded
From the golden chariot of the sun?
Come one and all to the grand festival,
To this festival of dawn.
The din of earth
And the sweet message of heaven
Have blended into one today.
The clouds have dissolved,
and all anxieties disappeared.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[3]

The clouds have vanished, and now there are no worries or anxieties. Now we are proceeding towards the supreme destination, the supreme desideratum of life. There is no obstacle now in the blue sky. Some people from another world, the divine world, are calling and saying, "You brothers and sisters of Earth, come forward. We are ready to join hands with you." Let there be a happy union between the physical or mundane world and the divine world. Let there be a happy blending, a divine union.
