Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kśańik tomár parash lági
Jege áchi divánishi
Eso tiirthapati tamah náshi

Ámár ghare tomár álo
Jedin pratham man bhulálo
Sedinei mor manda bhála
Tomár májhei geche mishi

Báire tomár kichu je nái
Bhetare thekeo dharite ná pái
Smarite geleo páshariyá jái
Tabuo tomáy bhálabási

Your fleeting touch, for its sake
Night and day I am awake.
Come, Ruler of Sacred Place, darkness to annihilate.

Your light, it was inside my room
From the first day that mind was duped.
That day itself, my vice and virtue,
They've got mixed in the very midst of You.

Outside of You there is nothing;
But having kept within, I also cannot adhere.
After trying to remember, I go on forgetting;
And yet I am in love with You, notwithstanding.
