Ajáná ke se madhukar hese
Nimeśe hrday jine nilo

Je kusume madhup ná eseche
Táder pápŕi malin hayeche
Jhaŕ jhaiṋjháy káṋdiyá jhareche
Bujhite páre ni kii je halo

Jáder korake ájo madhu áche
Mane práńe tárá gáiyá caleche
Eso he madhup eso he anup
Áshálatá karo ucchala

কুসুমকোরকে যত মধু ছিল
মধুকর এসে' নিয়ে গেল
অজানা কে সে মধুকর হেসে'
নিমেষে হৃদয় জিনে' নিল

যে কুসুমে মধুপ না এসেছে
তাদের পাপড়ি মলিন হয়েছে
ঝড়-ঝঞ্ঝায় কাঁদিয়া ঝরেছে
বুঝিতে পারে নি কী যে হ'ল

যাদের কোরকে আজও মধু আছে
মনে প্রাণে তারা গাইয়া চলেছে
এসো হে মধুপ এসো হে অনুপ
আশালতা করো উচ্ছল

The bee came and took away
all the honey preserved
in the pollen of flower.
who is that unknown bee,
who smilingly won over heart
in a moment?
the flower on which
the bee does not come,
the petals of that become dirty.
it cries and withers away
without knowing what happened.
those flowers in which still
honey remains today,
they go on singing wholeheartedly.
o the bee, o the unequalled,
make the creeper of my hope vibrant,
enliven.
