Dyutimán virát́ puruś
Tava álo náshe kaluś
Marmer randhre randhre
Se álo bhálabesechilo

Esechile tumi eká
Hási chilo madhu mákhá
Hrdayer antasthale
Se hási ámáre jine nilo

কুয়াশা এসেছিল
ক্ষণ তরে ঢেকে রেখেছিল
তব কিরণ এল তমঃ সরে' গেল
আঁধারের ভয় কোথা' হারিয়ে গেল

দ্যুতিমান বিরাট পুরুষ
তব আলো নাশে কলুষ
মর্মের রন্ধ্রে রন্ধ্রে
সে আলো ভালবেসেছিল

এসেছিলে তুমি একা
হাসি ছিল মধু মাখা
হৃদয়ের অন্তস্থলে
সে হাসি আমারে জিনে' নিল

The fog had rolled in;
For a moment it had shrouded.
Your ray came, and the dark was abolished;
Fear of darkness, whereto did it vanish?

Oh God, omnipresent and resplendent,
Your light rids defilement.
Every pore of heartcore
That light, it had cherished.

Alone You had appeared,
And Your smile was honey-smeared.
At the depths of my heart,
That smile held me captive.
