Coming surprisingly, the sweet spring,
At end of spring the [[:wikipedia:Myrtus|myrtle]], suddenly appearing,
at the end, started swinging me.
It goes on giving a swing.
The aspirations in the mind
Hope that was in memory found expression
got language by his inspiration.
Upon just its inspiration.
his abode is not in the floral garden,

no one keeps him in the destination.
In a tiny rose garden, that is not its place;
the bee searches honey untimely in vain.
And also in a palace, one does not maintain.
In his mind sweetness remains,
A bumblebee searches for nectar in vain
overflowing with beauty and delicacy.
At the wrong moment, at an hour inauspicious.
he who goes there with love,

only he attains him.
In its mind also, there is honey;
With form and flavor, it becomes overflowing.
Having loved, those who go near,
Only they discover it.

Madhavii phagun shese hathat ese is the 2263rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mádhavii phágun sheśe hat́hát ese
Dolá diye jáy
Mane je áshá chilo bháśá pelo
Tári prerańáy

Gulbágicáy neiko tár t́háṋi
Maiṋjilete keu rákhe nái
Bhomrá madhu khoṋje vrthái
Akále abeláy

Tár maneteo madhu áche
Rúpe rase paŕe upce
Bhálabese je jáy káche
Sei je táre páy

At end of spring the myrtle, suddenly appearing,
It goes on giving a swing.
Hope that was in memory found expression
Upon just its inspiration.

In a tiny rose garden, that is not its place;
And also in a palace, one does not maintain.
A bumblebee searches for nectar in vain
At the wrong moment, at an hour inauspicious.

In its mind also, there is honey;
With form and flavor, it becomes overflowing.
Having loved, those who go near,
Only they discover it.
