Álpaná diye mádhurii mákhiye
Ásár ásháy base áchi

Jáni ná se úśá kakhan hásibe
Púrvákásh mor rauṋe ráuṋá habe
Sakal kálimá dúre sare jábe
Ásibe ámár káchákáchi

Niśphal nay kona-i sádhaná
Sáthe áche tava priitir prerańá
Maner kaláp meliyáche d́áná
Karuńár kańá shudhu jáci

মালা গেঁথেছি ঘর সাজিয়েছি
আলপনা দিয়ে মাধুরী মাখিয়ে
আসার আশায় বসে' আছি

জানি না সে ঊষা কখন হাসিবে
পূর্বাকাশ মোর রঙে রাঙা হবে
সকল কালিমা দূরে সরে' যাবে
আসিবে আমার কাছাকাছি

নিষ্ফল নয় কোনই সাধনা
