O lord, the sandal breeze came
A vernal breeze had arrived, in each ear had whispered:
and whispered into the ears
Today You will appear.
that you would come today.
All gates of mind this time I have kept open
Hence this time i have kept

I'm anticipating with a heart tense,

To hear Your summoning.
i have kept the bouquet decorated.

i am full of expectation
From afar, very far, a light goes on smiling;
with impatient heart to hear Your call.
Pollen goes on sailing, pleasing everybody.
the effulgence goes on smiling far and further.
Knowing that You will come, no taboo does mind heed;
the fragrance goes on floating pleasing all.
With the thrill of pollen-spore dances a light-beam.
Knowing that you would come,
the mind does not heed and goes on dancing
in the light and fragrance with joy.

Malaya esechilo kane kane kayechilo is the 2397th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Malaya esechilo káne káńe kayechilo
Tumi ásibe ájike
Maner sakal dvár khule rekhechi ebár
Varań karite tomáke

Mánasa kusum diye geṋthe rekhechi málá
Cayita surabhi niye sájáye rekhechi d́álá
Apekśamáń áchi niye hiyá utalá
Shunite tomár d́áke

Áloka hese jáy dúre theke bahu dúre
Parág bhese jáy sabáre trpta kare
Tumi ásibe jene man máná náhi máne
Náce álo paráger pulake

A vernal breeze had arrived, in each ear had whispered:
Today You will appear.
All gates of mind this time I have kept open
To welcome You respectfully.

A garland from mental blossoms I have kept threaded;
With selected fragrance I have kept a tray[nb 2] decked.
I'm anticipating with a heart tense,
To hear Your summoning.

From afar, very far, a light goes on smiling;
Pollen goes on sailing, pleasing everybody.
Knowing that You will come, no taboo does mind heed;
With the thrill of pollen-spore dances a light-beam.
