Man ceyechilo bali eso tomáre
Láje balite pári ni
Ajasra vicyuti jamá je chilo
Se bhiiŕe tákáno jáy ni

Jemani hai ná kena ámi je tomár
Dúre thákileo tumi sárátsár
Ámár jiivane tumi ameya apár
Ekathá bujhe ut́hi ni

Acal jiivane tumi gandhavaha
Sacal kariyá dáo áno praváha
Mará gáuṋe d́hal áno he himaváha
Balár adhikár áse ni

মন চেয়েছিল বলি এসো তোমারে
লাজে বলিতে পারি নি
অজস্র বিচ্যুতি জমা যে ছিল
সে ভীড়ে তাকানো যায় নি

যেমনই হই না কেন আমি যে তোমার
দূরে থাকিলেও তুমি সারাৎসার
আমার জীবনে তুমি অমেয় অপার
একথা বুঝে’ উঠি নি

অচল জীবনে তুমি গন্ধবহ
সচল করিয়া দাও আনো প্রবাহ
মরা গাঙে ঢল আনো হে হিমবাহ
বলার অধিকার আসে নি

Mind had wanted me to tell You, "Come please";
Out of shyness I could not speak.
Myriad the lapses that had amassed;
Looking into that morass did not pass.

As much as I am not, why then am I Yours?
Even staying at a distance, You are my quintessence.
In my life You are huge and incessant;
Having understood this fact, I did not get up.

In a life immobile, You are the wind;
You give dynamism, You bring the current.
You bring rapids to dry rivers, hey the Glacier;
But my power of speech did not happen.
