Mana bhese jáy sajala háoyáy is the 254th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mana bhese jáy sajala háoyáy
Campaka surabhi mákhi
Se je acená baṋdhu práńera sab madhu
D́háliyá táre go d́áki

Kena se theke jáy dúr videshe
Kena se náhi áse káche
Kena go mor páne náhi tákáy se
Kena se dúre theke náce
Táhári chande gáne cali je tári páne
Je rekheche nijere d́háki

Nahe go nahe go nahe dúre se
Se je more sab ceye bhálabáse
Vipade sampade tháke páshe páshe
Dekhá náhi diye se je mrdu háse
Jadio acená nahe se ajáná
Tár liilá bujhite ná báki

My mind goes on floating through the moist wind,
absorbed by the fragrance of the campaka (magnolia) flower.
That unknown companion
has poured all the sweetness of his heart into it
and keeps on calling me.

Why does he remain in faroff places?
Why does he not come near?
Why does not he look towards me?
Why does he continue dancing from afar?

Despite he keeping himself hidden,
I reach him by his own song and rhythm.

No, no, he is not far away,
He continues loving me in all circumstances.
He stays close to me in pain and happiness.
His sweet smile secretly remains with me always.

Though unacquainted, he is not unknown,
His divine game (liila'),
I have now well understood.
