Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mana madhukare udvela kare
Ese gele priya mor ghare
Svágata jánáte arghye barite
Kichui chilo ná e kut́ire

Bhávite pári ni tumi ese jábe
Áshár áloke rauṋin karibe
Hrdayer madhu dui háte neve
Tákábe hese priiti bhare

Áshár atiit sparshamańi
Bháśár báṋdhane bádhá je paŕo ni
Ásár shuńi ni kona padadhvani
Ele cakite álo kare

To the enthusiastic bee of psyche,
At my dwelling You were important, Dear.
But to proclaim greeting with offering welcoming,
In this humble abode, there was absolutely nothing.

How You would matter, I could not imagine;
With a light ray of hope, You would illumine.
With both hands You would take nectar from my bosom;
You would gaze with smiling face, full of affection.

Stone of philosophers, beyond expectation,
You were not impeded by simple rhetoric.
I heard not any footfall of Your arrival;
Brightening, You did come asudden.
