Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Manamaiṋjuśá mor satata jágiyá áche
Tava ásá path ceye ogo mor prabhu
Eso tumi gáne náce áro káche áro káche
Hrday duyár bandha kari ná kabhu

Eso tumi dhúpe diipe kusuma madhuparáge
Snigdha shishire dhoyá ráge anuráge
Nirváta diipa shikhá sadái jvaliyá áche
Tomár árati lági vishvavibhu

Jatai jhat́iká áno rudra ashani háno
Mor diip niváite páribe ná tabu

My mental casket is ever bestirred;
Watching Your arrival path, oh my Lord and Master.
Please come with song and dance, close and still closer;
Never do I bolt heart's door.

Come mid incense, lights, and flower's sweet pollen,
Mid the gentle dew, drenched with love and devotion.
Free from wind, a lamp-flame is always kept lit
For purpose of Your árati,[nb 2] Ruler of the Universe.

Any high wind You may bring or dread firebolt rain down,
In spite of that, my lamp won't be able to get doused.
