Spandita surabhita niipe

Amarár dhárá d́háliyá diyácho
Rukśa maruke shyámal karecho
Gatásu jiivane práńa bhariyácho
Jaŕe cetanár anubhave

Nidágher jválá saráye diyácho
Shiirńa saritá púrńá karecho
Niirasa dharáke rase bhariyácho
Tamah náshiyácho áshá diipe

মন্দ্রিত মেঘে উঠেছিনু জেগে'
তোমারে দেখিনু নব রূপে (প্রিয)
রঞ্জিত তুমি অলকার রাগে
স্পন্দিত সুরভিত নীপে

অমরার ধারা ঢালিয়া দিয়াছ
রুক্ষ মরুকে শ্যামল করেছ
গতাসু জীবনে প্রাণ ভরিয়াছ
জড়ে চেতনার অনুভবে

নিদাঘের জ্বালা সরায়ে দিয়াছ
শীর্ণ সরিতা পূর্ণ করেছ
ণীরস ধরাকে রসে ভরিয়াছ
তমঃ নাশিয়াছ আশা-দীপে

With the resonant cloud,
i got up and saw you
in new form, o dear lord.
You are coloured in heavenly colour,
and vibrant in fragrant niip.
you have poured out heavenly flow
and made the dried desert green.
you fill life in dead
with experience of consciousness
in the inert.
you removed the heat of sun
and filled the dried, thinned river.
You have filled the dry earth
with flow and destroy darkness
with the lamp of hope.
