In the garden, what word are they spreading?
In the garden, what word are they spreading?

With the colors and fragrance of earth,
In the colors and fragrance of earth,
And the copious rhythm of their tone,
And the copious rhythm of a tone,
What is this tune that was not lost in the desert?
Their tune was not lost in the desert.
Surrounded by their music, I keep threading garlands,
Surrounded by their music, I keep threading garlands,
Filled with all the nectar of life.
Filled with all the ambrosia of life.

The nectar hidden in the flower,
The nectar concealed in flowers,
The fragrance buried in the pollen,
The fragrance buried in the pollen,
The love deep in my heart
The love deep in my heart
Line 68: Line 68:
I keep on singing,
I keep on singing,
Surpassing the strings of the lyre.
Surpassing the strings of the lyre.
And what are the bees whispering in the garden
With their buzzing?

Maomachi gunguniye is the 72nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Maomáchi gunguniye
Kánane kii kathá jáy shuniye

Vasudhár varńe o gandhe
Surer upace paŕá chande
Je rág hayani hárá marute
Táder májháre base málá genthe jái
Práńer sakal sudhá bhariye

Je madhu phule chilo d́háká
Je suvás parágete mákhá
Je mamatá hrdi májhe rákhá
Sabáre jagáye ámi gán geye jái
Viińár sakal tár chápiye

The honeybees with their buzzing—
In the garden, what word are they spreading?

In the colors and fragrance of earth,
And the copious rhythm of a tone,
Their tune was not lost in the desert.
Surrounded by their music, I keep threading garlands,
Filled with all the ambrosia of life.

The nectar concealed in flowers,
The fragrance buried in the pollen,
The love deep in my heart
Awakening all of these,
I keep on singing,
Surpassing the strings of the lyre.
