Tumi chile ajánáy e hiyáy
Páoyár uccáshá bhará chilo

Kálo meghe cáṋd d́háká paŕechilo
Kakhano kakhano uṋki ditechilo
Maner mayúr bhule káche dúr
Nrtye vibhor hayechilo

Megh sare gelo álodhárá elo
Cáṋde meghe lukocuri sheś halo
Saláj ánane sahása svapane
Ár ek rúp dhará dilo

মত্ত পবনে নিশীথ গগনে
কি সুর বাজিয়া উঠেছিল
তুমি ছিলে অজানায় এ হিয়ায়
পাওয়ার উচ্চাশা ভরা ছিল

কালো মেঘে চাঁদ ঢাকা পড়েছিল
কখনো কখনো উঁকি দিতেছিল
মনের ময়ূর ভুলে কাছে দূর
নৃত্যে বিভোর হয়েছিল

মেঘ সরে গেল আলোধারা এল
চাঁদে-মেঘে লুকোচুরি শেষ হ'ল
সলাজ আননে সহাস স্বপনে
আর এক রূপ ধরা দিল
