Ke se apsará ela sájáte

Ucca cúŕár dhaval páháŕ
Úrdhve cáhiyá káháke d́áke
Shyámala shasye vanaspatite
Smita vanabhúmi bariche káke
Ei pariveshe káhár áveshe
Ektáne sabe ut́heche mete

Rúpakár ogo mahávishver
Ei je suśamá suvás kiser
Káhára lágiyá diyecha d́háliyá
Káhar hrday jiniyá nite

মেঘেরা কেন নীচে নেবে’ আসে
হিমগিরির পরশ পেতে
আকাশ বাতাস মধুময় কেন
কে সে অপ্সরা এল সাজাতে

উচ্চ চূড়ার ধবল পাহাড়
ঊর্ধ্বে চাহিয়া কাহাকে ডাকে
শ্যামল শস্যে বনস্পতিতে
স্মিত বনভূমি বরিছে কাকে
এই পরিবেশে কাহার আবেশে
একতানে সবে উঠেছে মেতে’

রূপকার ওগো মহাবিশ্বের
এই যে সুষমা সুবাস কিসের
কাহার লাগিয়া দিয়েছ ঢালিয়া
কাহার হৃদয় জিনিয়া নিতে

to touch the snow peaks of mountains?

Why are sky and air so full of sweetness?
Which angel came about in decorations?

Who do the white and high peaks of mountains call,
while looking upward?
Who created the green vegetation
and the smiling forests?

In this environment,
under whose impulse,
do all rise up,
frenzied in one tune?

O beautifier of the universe,
what for, all this beauty?

What for did you pour it all out?
