Mor ghumaghore tumi ese anahuta is the 1976th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mor ghumaghore tumi ese anáhuta
Jágiye dile jágiye dile jágiye dile
Balle more áj anek je káj
Káj sere ghumáo belá jáy je cale

Diner parisar jáno siimita
Pale anupale báṋdhá parimita
Ekbár gele sare punah náhi áse phire
Jáy káler áŕále jáy káler áŕále

Káler tridante tomáro calá
Cakrer likhe cale gáṋthá málá
Mrdu vishrámer ei pánthashálá
Jena jeo ná bhule jena jeo ná bhule

Oh You, having come uninvited into my deep sleep,
Myself You did awake, You did awake, You did awake.
You told me: "Today, many chores are there...
Sleep when the work is done; time, it slips away.

"The day's duration, you know it is limited;
By minutes and seconds, rigidly it is restricted.
Once they have gone away, they don't return again;
Go they behind time's curtain, behind time's curtain.

"Neath time's three teeth[nb 2] is also your movement;
On a cyclic track it journeys, a garland threaded.
This, rest's wayside tavern, it is delicate;
Let it not be neglected, let it not be neglected."
