O the ocean of grace, you had come
In the compound of my tiny dwelling;
in the courtyard of my small home.
You'd arrived, oh the Fount of Kindness.
That i had never expected,
Never that could I imagine,
there is no limit of your mercy.
Empathetic without end.
i had been calling many summers and rains,

continued crying several winter evenings.
With so many summer rains, I have gone on calling;
i oscillated on the swing of hope and despair,
On so many autumn evenings, I have gone on weeping.
expecting your merciful glimpse just for a moment.
I have swung in the cradle of faith-to-despondency,
this has been unthinkable, incomparable,
Should You take notice, showing grace for a moment.
overflowing immeasurable love.

you came into your own microcosm
This is inconceivable, it is unequaled;
and came into fold, o the great ocean.
This copious exudation is a love immeasurable.
Having turned up on Your own inside of an atom,
You entered my fold, oh the Great Ocean.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mor kśudra gharer áuṋgináy
Tumi esechile ogo krpánidhi
Bhávite pári ni jáhá kakhano
Karuńár náhi avadhi

D́eke gechi kata nidágh varaśay
Keṋde gechi kata sharat sandhyáy
Dulechi áshá niráshár doláy
Krpá kare kśań tare tákáo jadi

E je abhávaniiya e je atulaniiya
E je upaciyá paŕá priiti ameya
Ese nije ańura májhe
Dhará dile tumi mahodadhi

In the compound of my tiny dwelling;
You'd arrived, oh the Fount of Kindness.
Never that could I imagine,
Empathetic without end.

With so many summer rains, I have gone on calling;
On so many autumn evenings, I have gone on weeping.
I have swung in the cradle of faith-to-despondency,
Should You take notice, showing grace for a moment.

This is inconceivable, it is unequaled;
This copious exudation is a love immeasurable.
Having turned up on Your own inside of an atom,
You entered my fold, oh the Great Ocean.
