O lord, you opened your eyes towards me
In my direction eyes You have spread;
and in the depth of mind,
Like a [[:wikipedia:Magnolia champaca|champak]] garden, at depths of psyche
in the garden of campak flower,
You have suffused fragrance.
you have filled fragrance.

i was in deep slumber
In extreme darkness I was sound asleep;
in intense dark night,
I could not think about the morning's sunbeams.
could not even imagine the ray of sun.
Light You poured out at my dwelling
you poured out light in my home,
Inside life, You've infused sweetness.
and filled sweetness in life.

i never thought anything other than myself,
Nothing except my own self did I consider;
under the charm of infatuation,
Controlled by attachments, I lacked consciousness.
i was deprived of consciousness.
With personal troubles I have filled the world,
with my own sorrows,
But my delusion You have dispelled.
i had filled the world,
You broke away my delusion.

Mor pane ankhi melecho is the 2463rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mor páne áṋkhi melecho (tumi)
Maner gahane campakavane
Surabhi bhariyá diyecho

Ghor timire chinu ghumaghore
Bhávite párini aruńer kare
Tumi álo d́hele diye mor ghare
Jiivane mádhurii bharecho

Bhávini kichui nijere cháŕá
Moha vashe chinu samvit-hárá
Nijer duhkhe bhariyechi dhará
Tumi mor bhram ghuciyecho[nb 2]

In my direction eyes You have spread;
Like a champak garden, at depths of psyche
You have suffused fragrance.

In extreme darkness I was sound asleep;
I could not think about the morning's sunbeams.
Light You poured out at my dwelling
Inside life, You've infused sweetness.

Nothing except my own self did I consider;
Controlled by attachments, I lacked consciousness.
With personal troubles I have filled the world,
But my delusion You have dispelled.
