Nandanavane ke go ele is the 580th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nandanavane ke go ele
Man mátále veńu bájále
Candanasugandhe madir
Samiirańe bhariye dile

Núpur dhvani tháme ná je
Guiṋjariyá práńe báje
Saptaloker surasaptake
Náciye dile chande tále

Vyákul hiyá cháŕte ná cáy
Kácher thekeo áro káche cáy
Liilár puruś liilár chale
Bhálabásár madhu mákhále

Oh, Who came into Paradise,
Playing a flute, delighting the mind?
With the heady scent of sandalwood,
The air He did fill.

The sound of anklebells, it does not cease;
It echos in the heart.
With seven notes,[nb 2] the seven worlds[nb 3]
He set dancing to His lilt and beat.

Anxious hearts don't want to leave;
But, even close, they yearn to be closer.
In a ruse of liila, liila's creatures,
With love's honey, they were smeared.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ The musical octave consists of seven primary notes.
  3. ^ In Tantric theory, the cosmic mind (more or less the universe) consists of seven realms or worlds: bhú (physical world), bhuvah (crude mental world), svah (subtle mental world), mahah (supra-mental world), janah (subliminal world), tapah (penultimate world), and satya (causal world).[3]
