Notes
- ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
- ^ Indian mythology places a precious jewel, nagamani or manihárá in the cobra's hooded head. Symbolically, the jewel represents divine light. In the tantric tradition, the cobra represents the kuńd́alinii (the serpentine force or sleeping divinity) and the jewel represents the sahasrára cakra (the topmost energy center corresponding physically to the pineal gland, the seat of final self-realization).
