Nayane mishe thako priyatama is the 1268th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nayane mishe tháko priyatama (mor)
Mamatá mákhá priiti madhura ákuti
Sárthaka karo antaratama

Tomáre bhálabási juge jugántare
Sakal sattá diye manera májháre
Malaye[nb 2] nihita surabhi sama

Ámár jiivane tumii dhruvatárá
Thákite náhi pári tilek tumi cháŕá
Mana madhumáse máyámrgáuṋka sama (tumi)

O my dearest,
remain ever submerged in my eyes!
With affection smeared love and sweet earnestness,
fill my innermost recess.

I have loved you since ages unknown,
offering to you my entire existence.
You reside in my mind,
as does fragrance in the sandal breeze.

You are the pole star of my life,
I cannot live for even a moment without you.

Like the deer attracting
and illusive mirage of divinity (ma'ya'),
in my spring season,
O lord,
You remain ever mingled in my eyes.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In the audio file, this is sung as Malaya je, which corresponds with some Roman script sources. Here, the published Bangla text is preferred.[1]
