Nijer chanda hariye phelechi is the 1400th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nijer chanda háriye phelechi
Tomár chande nácite cái
Bháv bháśá sur kichui náhika
Tabu tava guńagán je gái

Avyakte chilo jata bháv
Vyaktávyakte jata mahábháv
Sabái tomár carańopánte
Tái o carańe nati jánái

Kichui ási ni niye sáthe kare
Jábo ná kichui maiṋjuśá bhare
Mor jata páp mor theke ják
Puńyer málá gale parái

O lord,
I wish to dance, losing my own personal rhythm,
I wish to dance, to only your rhythm and tune.

I have neither language, ideation nor melody;
and yet, i long to sing of your attributes.

All unexpressed affection,
all great ideative expression,
lie at the altar of your feet.
Hence, to your feet, i bow.

Nothing fancy have i regarded my own;
and nothing shall i take to fill my jewel box.
All sins being mine,
I shall place the result of my good actions,
as a garland on your neck.
