Sárathi samay mayúkha máláy áse
Tandrávihiin ná phot́á phuler kali
Káche pete cáy práńbhará nishváse

Jata bár bhávi dúre cale jái
Priitir báṋdhan báṋdhe je sadái
Bale káńe káńe shono gáne gáne
Sabái álote háse

Dúr kothá áche dúr keu nay
Cetaná sáyare sabe mishe ray
Átmáy nihita je paricay
Bháver májháre bháse

নূপুর ছন্দে সুস্মিত দিনগুলি
সারথি সময় ময়ূখ মালায় আসে
তন্দ্রাবিহীন না-ফোটা ফুলের কলি
কাছে পেতে চায় প্রাণভরা নিশ্বাসে

যত বার ভাবি দূরে চলে’ যাই
প্রীতির বাঁধন বাঁধে’ যে সদাই
বলে কাণে কাণে শোণ গানে গানে
সবাই আলোতে হাসে

দূর কোথা আছে দূর কেউ নয়
চেতনা-সায়রে সবে মিশে’ রয়
আত্মায় নিহিত যে পরিচয়
ভাবের মাঝারে ভাসে

With the rhythm of ankle bells,
within smiling days,
the charioteer of time comes
with the series of lightrays.
the unbloomed flower buds
eagerly want to get him
with full throat exhalations.
whenever i think, i go away.
he who ties the knot of love always,
whispers into my ears,
listen through songs,
all smile in the light.
where is the distance,
no one is away,
in the ocean of consciousness
all remain mingled up.
the acquaintance located within consciousness
appears into the ideas.
