Se dáruń vyathá maramera kathá
Jáge mane báre báre

Moheri kájal paráte nayan
Khuṋje mari kálo sáṋjhe

বারেক চাও ফিরে

হারায়ে গিয়েছে আমার সরিতা
মরুর বালির মাঝে
বুক ভেঙ্গে যায় দারুণ ব্যথায়
মন ছোটে তারই খোঁজে
সে দারুণ ব্যথা মরমের কথা
জাগে মনে বারে বারে

হারায়ে গিয়েছে মনের কুসুম
বনের কাঁটার মাঝে
মোহেরই কাজল পরাতে নয়ন
খুঁজে মরি কালো সাঁঝে
হারানোর ব্যথা কাঁটার যাতনা
মন কি ভুলিতে পারে

Oh, Traveler in the lead,
Just once, please look back at me.

Still I call You tearfully.

My stream has gotten lost
Amid the desert sands.
Heart breaking in anguish,
Mind races in search of Him.
That anguish is the story of my life;

Mind's bloom has gotten lost
Amid the forest thorns.
Eyes painted black with but illusion,
I languish in my quest at dark of dusk.
The pain of defeat is thorns' torture;
Can mind ever be relieved?
