Opposition to Dharma Will Certainly Invite Destruction is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 November 3 in Kolkata, India. This discourse is the eighth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 4.[1]
Synopsis
No one has ever been victorious or will ever be victorious by opposing dharma. March ahead with your own strength; march with firm steps and your head held high. Always remember that when dharma is with you, whoever will oppose you will be razed to the ground – their destruction is a must.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that each and every object has its innate and distinctive characteristic, that is to say its particular dharma. Anandamurti then explains that human beings will have to build up a social structure that is in harmony with the laws of dharma, wherein everyone has the right to live in dignity. Anandamurti goes on saying that the system of meditation taught in Ananda Marga is based on dharma. Anyone who opposes dharma is actually sowing the seeds for his own demise, because dharma will always be victorious.[1]
