Kindling fire through red pala'sh flowers, into the mind,
Having lit a fire through [[:wikipedia:Butea monosperma|flame-of-forest]],
colouring it, who has come deluding it intoxicating the
In the midst of mind, color You affixed.
life through melodies and rhythms? the mind does not
Oh Who did come, mind entrancing,
want to see you, still it loves. why love the unknown,
Heart enthusing with a tune and beat?
with what expectation such untimely? you cannot be

held or bound, as you kiss the core of the mind.
Mind thinks that You it did not see;
Suddenly in the isolation, why did you come from the light?
Nonetheless, with love it is pining.
The One Unknowable it holds dear,
With what hope at hard times like these?

You don't get bound by ties earthly;
You keep kissing buds of psyche.
Suddenly, with this same privacy,
From realm unseen, why did You appear?

Palashe agun jvele is the 1760th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Paláshe águn jvele
Maner májhe rauṋ lágále
Ke ele go man bhuláno
Práń mátáno sure tále

Mana bháve dekheni tomáy
Tabu bhálabáste je cáy
Ajánáke bhálobáse
Kiser áshe e akále

Dhará báṋdhá jáo ná tumi
Tháko maner korak cumi
Ácambite ei nibhrte
Alok theke kena ele

Having lit a fire through flame-of-forest,
In the midst of mind, color You affixed.
Oh Who did come, mind entrancing,
Heart enthusing with a tune and beat?

Mind thinks that You it did not see;
Nonetheless, with love it is pining.
The One Unknowable it holds dear,
With what hope at hard times like these?

You don't get bound by ties earthly;
You keep kissing buds of psyche.
Suddenly, with this same privacy,
From realm unseen, why did You appear?
