Parii ek esechilo
Madhura khoṋje pápŕi májhe
Sárádin ghurechilo

Pápŕi thákilei tháke ná madhu
Ákásh thákilei tháke ná vidhu
Pápŕi caibe mor madhu thákuk
Madhu balbe mor pápŕi bhálo

Phuler sauṋge pariir ei paricay
Sháshvata káler e ájker nay
Eke bhálabáse anyake
Phuler t́áne parii esechilo

ফুলের বনে আনমনে
পরী এক এসেছিল
মধুর খোঁজে পাপড়ি মাঝে
সারাদিন ঘুরেছিল

পাপড়ি থাকিলেই থাকে না মধু
আকাশ থাকিলেই থাকে না বিধু
পাপড়ি চাইবে মোর মধু থাকুক
মধু বলবে মোর পাপড়ি ভালো

ফুলের সঙ্গে পরীর এই পরিচয়
শাশ্বত কালের এ আজকের নয়
একে ভালবাসে অন্যকে
ফুলের টানে পরী এসেছিল

Into the garden of a flower, in a fashion casual,
One specific fairy had entered.
With a search for honey in among the petals,
An entire day had turned.

Even if there will be petals, no honey remains;
Even if there will be sky, the moon does not hang.
Petals will request: "My honey must stay";
The honey will say: "My petals are good."

This acquaintance of the fairy with the flower,
It is not of today but of time perpetual.
Each adores the other;
The fairy had arrived upon floral pull.
