Phuleri rájá esecho
Phulavane kena áji
Phul ki ceyeche tomáy
Táte ki hayecho rájii

Phul cáhe tomá páne
Tumio cáo du'nayane
(Ei) Cáoyácáyi mákhámákhi
Niti nava sáje sáji

Kśańa tare phul phot́e
Tárpar dhúlote lot́e
Kśańikeri ásá jáoyá
Tabu háse ot́he náci

ফুলেরই রাজা এসেছ
ফুলবনে কেন আজি
ফুল কি চেয়েছে তোমায়
তাতে কি হয়েছ রাজী

ফুল চাহে তোমা' পানে
তুমিও চাও দু'নয়নে
(এই) চাওয়াচায়ি মাখামাখি
নিতি নব সাজে সাজি'

ক্ষণ তরে ফুল ফোটে
তারপর ধূলোতে লোটে
ক্ষণিকেরই আসা-যাওয়া
তবু হাসে ওঠে নাচি'

You have come, oh Ruler of the flowers;
Today, why are You in the floral garden?
Has a flower yearned for You,
And to that have You been obedient?

A flower looks in Your direction;
With two eyes, You also look upon it.
This mutual observation, this familiarity,
Ever it is dressed in fresh clothing.

For a brief span of time a flower blossoms;
Afterward, in the dust she sprawls.
Her coming-and-going is only momentary;
Yet, with a smile, she rises up dancing.
