Bujhe ut́há dáy
Kakhano káṋdáy kakhano hásáy
Bhálabháve ciniyáo ná cinite cáy

Alakár buk theke dheye áso
Maner gahan końe niirave baso
Alakśye theke jata tamasá násho
Jáno tumi ke kii kare bale bheve jáy

Sanátan liilá tava calamán rath
Je riitite tumi calo tái hay path
Tomáte ese meshe jata niiti mat
Jata rág rágińii tava giiti gáy

(প্রভু) তোমার লীলায়
বুঝে' উঠা দায়
কখনো কাঁদায় কখনো হাসায়
ভালভাবে চিনিয়াও না চিনিতে চায়

অলকার বুক থেকে ধেয়ে' আস
মনের গহন কোণে নীরবে বস
অলক্ষ্যে থেকে যত তমসা নাশ
জান তুমি কে কী করে বলে ভেবে যায়

সনাতন লীলা তব চলমান রথ
যে রীতিতে তুমি চল তাই হয় পথ
তোমাতে এসে' মেশে যত নীতি মত
যত রাগ-রাগিণী তব গীতি গায়

Master, Your liila,
It is hard to understand.
Sometimes it makes cry, sometimes it makes laugh;
Even when knowing well, not to know it asks.

You arrive, racing from the bosom of heaven;
In a far-flung psychic niche, You sit in silence.
Remaining unseen, You demolish any darkness;
Who thinks, states, or does what– You know that.

The everlasting liila is Your mobile chariot;
In the style that You move, that alone becomes the path.
Inside You merges and emerges all moral doctrine;
Every raag and raginii[nb 2] chants Your ballad.
