Háso mrdu hási bhará mamatáy

Tumi háráno diner hrta gaoravahár
Tumi puráno surer nava upahár
Eso áro káche baso manamájhe
Tumi bájáo mohan báṋshii sudhá suśamáy

প্রাণের আলোকে তোমারে পেয়েছি
হারায়েছি মোহে জড়িমায়
রূপেরই ঝলকে পলকে পলকে
উজ্জীবিত করেছো সবায়

তোমার অসীম ভাবে সবে ভেসে যাই
অন্তর্জ্বালা-গ্লানি কোথা মিশে যায়
(এসো) ফুলের পরাগে নব অনুরাগে
হাসো মৃদু হাসি ভরা মমতায়

তুমি হারানো দিনের হৃত গৌরবহার
তুমি পুরানো সুরের নব উপহার
এসো আরো কাছে বসো মনমাঝে
তুমি বাজাও মোহন বাঁশী সুধা-সুষমায়

O Lord,
I attained you,
in lively light,
and lost you,
in the inertia of blind attachment.

You enliven all,
showing glimpses of your beauty
at each moment.

In the ideation of your infinite form,
all float on,
while internal agony and disgrace vanish away.

Come with floral pollen,
with new love,
and, full of affection,
softly smile.

You are the lost garland of respect
of bygone days.
You are the new gift of old melodies.

Come closer,
sit within my mind,
and play your enchanting flute,
ever saturated with nectar.
