Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Rekhá eṋke dilo álo
Kon ajánáy chilo náhi jáni
Path beṋdhe diye gelo
Se path dhare cali tárei máni

Klántivihiin egiye calechi
Sumukh páne lakśya rekhechi
Bádhá vighna tuccha karechi
Dúrke sadái mor nikat́e t́áni

Játrá shuru kabe theke jáni ná
Jáni ihái mor jiivaner sádhaná
Iśt́a cháŕá kona kichui máni ná
Sab mádhurii tári tare áni

O lord, you have marked the line of light,
in which unknown past, i do not know.
you made a path, treading on which,
i move accepting you as my goal.
i move forward untiringly,
keeping the desideratum in the front.
ignoring the resistances and obstructions,
i always pull the distant entities close.
when the journey commenced, i do not know,
but this much I know that
it is my sa'dhana', the ultimate spiritual effort.
i do not accept anything other than
my iis't'a, the supreme goal
and my sweetness i bring for Him.
