Relationship with an Acarya/a is the sixth chapter of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti's Ananda Marga Caryacarya Part 1.[1]
Chapter synopsis
In this chapter Anandamurtiji told that in the absence of any previous relationship, and depending upon their respective ages, the relationship between the ácárya/á and the initiate will be that of an elder brother/sister and a younger brother/sister.
If the initiate is younger in age, he or she should touch Acarya/a's feet and seek blessings. Even if the Acárya/á is younger in age, initiates may touch the ácárya/á’s feet in greeting if they wish.
Anandamurtiji instructed that an initiate must not do sáśt́áuṋga prańáma to an Acarya.
