He who is eyes’ pupil of all,
He Who is the pupil of everybody's eye,
i do know him, recognize him.
Him I don't recognize, Him I don't realize.
he remains, close, but still
Though He is nearby, I don't catch sight;
I did not see,
I don't understand, I don't see why.
why did not i understand that?

blind infatuation had engulfed me,
Blind infatuation had enveloped me;
the rhythm less mind was crying.
Bereft of rhythm, wept had the psyche.
for removing the darkness
To remove the gloom, to infuse cadence,
and filling rhythm in that,
Him I invite– why did He not arrive?
why i did not call and he did not come.

at his rhythm, whole world dances,
To just His rhythm romps the universe entire;
why should i remain alone without rhythm?
Why myself alone, rhythm-free I'll abide?
by his effulgence, planets and stars smile.
With only His splendor planets and stars smile;
but why does not he look at me?
Why does He not look in the direction mine?

Sabakar se je ankhira tara is the 2495th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sabákár se je áṋkhira tárá
Táre cini ná táre jáni ná
Áche káche káche tabu dekhi ná
Kena bujhi ná bujhi ná

Andha moha more d́hekechilo
Chandahárá man keṋdechilo
Tamasá saráte chanda bharite
Táre d́áki kena je se elo ná

Tári chande náce vishva sárá
Eká ámi kena rabo chandahárá
Tári dyutite háse graha tárá
Mor páne kena se tákáy ná

He Who is the pupil of everybody's eye,
Him I don't recognize, Him I don't realize.
Though He is nearby, I don't catch sight;
I don't understand, I don't see why.

Blind infatuation had enveloped me;
Bereft of rhythm, wept had the psyche.
To remove the gloom, to infuse cadence,
Him I invite– why did He not arrive?

To just His rhythm romps the universe entire;
Why myself alone, rhythm-free I'll abide?
With only His splendor planets and stars smile;
Why does He not look in the direction mine?
