Tumi ese dáṋŕále páshe
Samiira svanane mor káne káne
Kahile kata kii mrdu bháśe

Ketakii parág bhese calechilo
Niipakuiṋja surabhi bhará chilo
Veńukár vane kekádhvani sane
Shikhii necechilo hese hese

Sthir vidyut sama tumi ele
Madhur hásite mukutá jharále
Ghumanta kali jágilo ákuli
Áṋkhi meli darashana áshe

সজল পবনে ছিনু আনমনে
তুমি এসে দাঁড়ালে পাশে
সমীর স্বননে মোর কানে কানে
কহিলে কত কী মৃদু ভাষে

কেতকী পরাগ ভেসে চলেছিল
নীপকুঞ্জ সুরভি ভরা ছিল
বেণুকার বনে কেকাধ্বনি সনে
শিখী নেচেছিল হেসে হেসে

স্থির বিদ্যুৎ সম তুমি এলে
মধুর হাসিতে মুকুতা ঝরালে
ঘুমন্ত কলি জাগিল আকুলি
আঁখি মেলি' দরশন আশে

O lord, with moist wind, i was unmindful
when you came and stood close by.
the resonance in the air,
whispered into my ears
with so much soft language.
the ketakii fragrance was
floating in the air
and the niip arbor was full of fragrance
in the bamboo grove,
along with peacock’s call,
the peacock danced smilingly.
you came like statical electricity,
flowing pearls through sweet smile.
the sleeping bud got up eagerly
opening the eyes with the hope of seeing.
