Kaye gelo more káne káne
Base theko náko káj niye tháko
Gán geye jeo bhará práńe

Kśańatare ásá ei dhará pare
Gatir chande cale jábe dúre
Pathik tumi pathei je básá
Rekho bhálabásá dhyeya páne

Esecho gecho tumi katabár
Calár paribhú ameya apár
Sáthe tháke tava rúpe nava nava
Se durlabh je áse dhyáne

সন্ধ্যা-সমীর সুবাসে অধীর
কয়ে গেল মোরে কানে কানে
বসে' থেকো নাকো কাজ নিয়ে থাক
গান গেয়ে যেও ভরা প্রাণে

ক্ষণতরে আসা এই ধরা 'পরে
গতির ছন্দে চলে' যাবে দূরে
পথিক তুমি পথেই যে বাসা
রেখো ভালবাসা ধ্যেয় পানে

এসেছ গেছ তুমি কতবার
চলার পরিভূ অমেয় অপার
সাথে থাকে তব রূপে নব নব
সে দুর্লভ যে হাসে ধ্যানে

O lord, the evening breeze,
impatient with fragrance,
whispered into my ears, “ do not sit,
take up work, go on singing songs
(of your devotional feeling)
to your heart's content.
you have come here on this earth
for a short time.
the rhythm of your movement
will go away far.
you are just like one traveler
who stays on the path
and continues ahead on the journey.
have love towards your desideratum.
you have come and gone from here
many times. the periphery of movement
is immeasurable and infinite.
evernew forms would be with you.
it is that rare entity
that appears in your meditation.
